Leonard Dale Rice

Leonard Dale Rice, 71, of Malvern passed away February 8, 2014. Leonard was born September 14, 1942 in Malvern to Raymond and Irene Rice. Leonard enjoyed hunting, fishing, and country music. He loved big family get-togethers and being a grandpa. He also loved taking care of people and always helped someone in need.
Leonard is predeceased by his parents; son, Dale Rice; brother, Charles Rice; and best friends, Cleatis Miller and Lyndal Hughes.
Leonard is survived by three daughters: Vanessa (Don) Robinson, Beverly Rice, and Amanda Crites, all of Malvern; three brothers: Mike (Masha) Rice, Clarence (Margaret) Rice, and Kennith (Dianne) Rice; sister, Becky Hart; seven grandchildren: Jo Ann Chandler, Elizabeth Mahan, Sherry Roach, Jason Brownfield, Marie Robinson, Bridgette Dickinson, and Marcus Robinson; twelve great-grandchildren; Skylar Sherlock, Gary Sherlock, Ashton Rhoads, Austin Rhoads, Ashley Conklin, Christopher Ramsey, Lee Pasmore, Michelle Pasmore, Nicky Robinson, Elizabeth Dickinson, Johnathan Dickinson, and Brandon Dickinson; and friends, Clint Therbor, Daniel Freeman, Joe Farley, Debra Wilson, Rhonda Dry, Valerie Thompson, Tammy Zuber, Mike Painter, Doc and Treasa Roark, and Donna Lewis.
A memorial service will be held at Francois Church on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM. The family will gather afterwards at 1251 Gifford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clayton Manning, Donnie Chandler, Jamie Swayze, Randy Lewis, Wayne Freeman, John Freeman, and Cammie Manning.
