    Ruby Vanderhoof Dixon, 97, of Mena passed away May 28, 2014. Ruby was born August 30, 1916 in Ward, AR to Benjamin and Bessy Vanderhoof. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Mena.
    Ruby is predeceased by her parents and her husband, Lodie C. Dixon Sr.
    Ruby is survived by her son, Lodie C. Dixon of Springfield, AR; three daughters, Phyllis (Doug) Taylor of Benton, AR, Mary Dixon of Mena, and Lota Dixon (Larry) Hardin of Malvern; six grandchildren, Tracy (Scott) Lipsit of CA, Selena Byrd Dixon (Jason) Hriz of Fayetteville, AR, Kimberly Byrd Dixon of Fayetteville, AR, Alethea (Chad) Hutchinson of Franklin, TN, Aerah Hardin of Hot Springs, and Leighton (Brittany) Hardin of Hot Springs; and five grandchildren.
    Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Rockport Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Catherine Allsbury officiating.
