Weslie Dixson, 81, of Traskwood passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015. Weslie was born September 12, 1933 in Traskwood to Johnny and Jewel (Davis) Dixson. Weslie loved camping, hunting, and fishing. He delivered papers for the Malvern Daily Record after many years of work at the bicycle factory.
Weslie is predeceased by his parents; one daughter, Geneta Dixson Bell; and one brother, Marvin Dixson.
Weslie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Opal (Tucker) Dixson of Traskwood; sons, Leslie (Connie) Dixson of Traskwood and Jimmy Dixson of Traskwood; daughter, Marilyn (Steve) Squyres of Houston, TX; brother, Emmett (Rita) Dixson of Malvern; sister, Ailene Campbell of Malvern; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Atkinson Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Francois Cemetery.
