• Doyle Holyfield

    23 Apr 2015

  • Doyle Holyfield, 72, of Malvern, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2015 with his loving family by his side.

Doyle was born on January 14, 1943 to Lee and Ila Lee Bizzell Holyfield in Morrilton, AR. Doyle and his wife, Beth, began building businesses in Malvern back in 1983. From the ground up, they formed Malvern Brake Service and later on, established Doyle’s Corner Store. Doyle was a hard worker, but will mostly be remembered for his kind heart. He would give anyone that needed it, a helping hand. Doyle was a wonderful husband and loving father to his children. Doyle loved to camp with his family and friends. He also spent time with his son, Todd, racing cars in Prescott. He had a passion for antique cars and he loved to mow. Doyle was an example of how to treat others. He embraced life and wasn’t afraid to take risk. Doyle put a lot of life into his 72 years and he will be missed by many in this community, but most of all by his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Lisa Ann Holyfield; one brother, Bobby N. Holyfield; and one sister, Billie Holyfield Gullage.
Doyle is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beth Holyfield of Malvern; his son, Todd Holyfield of Malvern; and a large extended family that will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Doyle’s life will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Troy Cates officiating.
