Geneva Jackson

Geneva Estelle Jackson, age 63, of Manila, died early Friday July 17, 2015 at her home. Born in Manila, she was the daughter of the late James Woodrow Macon and Rosie Lee Lutz and had lived several years in the Leola and Sheridan areas before returning to Manila. She was a certified nurses aide and was a member of the Bethabara Baptist Church near Lake City. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers; James Wendell Macon and David Arthur Macon.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Willard Lee Jackson of Manila; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Woody and Renee Jackson of Poyen, AR; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Steven McGehee of Dickinson, Texas; 6 sisters, Virginia Hart of Luxora, Shirley Hice of Manila, Faye Shepperson of Manila, Velma Holt of Leachville, Lavonda Macon of Manila, and Juanita Reed of Manila. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, Ashleigh, Brittany, Dustin, Will, Cody, and Kevin.
Funeral service will be 2pm Monday July 20, 2015 at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Jarrid McGrew officiating. The family will receive visitors Monday from 12pm until service time at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 11am Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Brush Creek Cemetery in Leola.
