  • Kim”Stouffi” Stouffer, 60, of Malvern passed away April 2, 2016. She was born on August 2, 1955 to James and Lillian Sorter. Kim was full of life, who loved spending time in the garden planting and tending to her flowers.  Nothing could compare to the love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her fur babies Slick, Kimberly and Bae-Bae. Kim was a joy to all who met her with her quick wit and telling it like it is attitude. She has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her.

    Kim is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jimmy and Louie; and a sister Earlene Sorter.

    Kim is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jerry Stouffer of Malvern; daughters, Stacey Welborn (Connie) of Magnet Cove; Mary (Jimmy) Cook of Magnet Cove; brothers, Billy Sorter of IN; Bob (Carlene) Sorter of Hot Springs; and Gary Sorter of CA; sister, Judy Hawk of IN. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Kelsey (Marvin) Hanks of LA; Michael Tucker of LA; and four great-grandchildren, Natalie Tucker, Trinity Tucker, Gracie Hanks, Anna Renee Hanks, and a large extended family that loved her dearly.

    Visitation will be Friday April 8, 2016 at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malvern.

    I only knew her for 1 day, but her love for her husband, family and her dogs was evident. I feel blessed to have met her. So sorry for you loss. You are all in my prayers.

    Stacey you know how incredibly sorry I am for your loss. Time will heal the pain but the memories are yours forever. She may be gone from this physical world but in your heart she will remain. Love to you and the family.

    Stoffie, I will miss you. The joy of my job at Preferred Exteriors was your laugh and contagious personality. You are an angel my friend. Fly sweet lady, fly with the ones you knew here now in heaven with you. All the moon and stars you adored the earth you loved. You are such a blessing to have known you. Praying for your family.
