  • Daphine Norris, 87, of Malvern passed away April 26, 2016. She was born to Earl and Lorene (Brant) Rosewell.   Daphine loved to spend her time fishing, playing cards and had a passion for gardening. She also had a love for cooking and a terrific sense of humor.  Daphine will be greatly missed by all.

    Daphine is preceded in death by her parents.

    Daphine is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Norris of Malvern; her sons, Carroll (Mary Faye) of Malvern; Rickey (Reba) Fitzhugh of Malvern; her brother, Ray Rosewell; and her sisters, Corrine Schwab and Patsy Burnett. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many friends and loved ones.

    Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thomy Green officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Alford Cemetery in Malvern. Pallbearers will be James Fitzhugh, JR Fitzhugh, Charles Kirk, Freddie Johnson, Brent Scrimshire and Doug White.
