    Melanie Ann Ramsey, 35, of Malvern passed away November 25, 2016.  Melanie was born to Richard and Valerie on September 16, 1981 in Merced; CA. Melanie attended RN School, loved the outdoors and loved to go bow hunting. She lived for her family, her babies were her life and she loved them with all her heart. Melanie was so extremely loved by her family and friends that her passing has left a hole in the hearts of all that knew her and she will be truly missed.

    Melanie is preceded in death by her grandmother, Wanda Greenlee.

    Melanie is survived by her husband, Gary Lee Ramsey of Malvern; her father, Richard Greenlee of Malvern; her mother, Valerie (Don) Elbert of Searcy; her children, Ashton Gage Ramsey and Alyssa Nicole Ramsey of Malvern; her sister, Charity (Jason) Rushing of Searcy and many other friends and loved ones.

    Visitation will be held Friday, December 2, 2016 from 6-8 PM in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel.  Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2016 the Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville, AR with Bro. Darryle  Sulton officiating. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Robert Ramsey, Robert Lisenbey, Andrew Lisenbey, Steven Lisenbey, Kenny Ramsey and Randy Brodnax.

    Arrangements entrusted to Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern. Guests may leave online condolences at www.atkinsonfuneralhome.net

    What a sweetheart she was, beautiful inside and out, I worked with Melanie at Oaklawn, and we had a quick connection, so fun and funny , I know how much she' ll be missed by her loving family.
