  • Robert Leon Millard, 85, of Malvern passed away December 14, 2016. Robert was born to the late Ervin and Barbara Millard on October 14, 1931 in Blue Ball, AR. He was a hard worker and loved his family.  Robert also had a great love for woodworking, his creations and his presence will be greatly missed by all.

     

    Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 54 years, Fern Doss Millard, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

    Robert is survived by his sons, David (Kathy) Millard of IL; Gary Millard of IL; Steven Millard of IL; Jeffery (Laura) Millard of IL; Michael Millard of OR; his daughter, Lisa (Jimmy) McKinsey of Hot Springs, AR; as well as 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

     

    Visitation will be held Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 6-8 PM in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malvern. Funeral Services will be held at the Atkinson Chapel Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Teddy Frye officiating. Pallbearers will be David Millard, Jeff Millard, James McKenzie, Alan Jones, Danny Millard and Nick Dehl. Interment will be at Rockport Memorial Gardens.

    My dad Robert Millard. I can't go Stuck bad weather snow icy close airplane more cost up ticket and greyhound.. I wish want see visit my dad.. I am sorry..my daughter,son hard work grow my home.. I Love Robert Millard..

    I am sorry to hear of uncle Leon's passing. He was a kind man. I used to stop and visit with him when I was traveling to Poplar Bluff, MO. He was always hospitable. May God be with you in your grief. Ervin Starwalt
