    Morris Robert Carter, 61, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Antioch, AR. He was born December 24, 1955 at the Hot Spring County Memorial Hospital to Marvin Carter and Bonnie Hall Carter.

    Morris is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Garvin Carter, and his brother-in-law, Melvin Hall.

    Morris is survived by his brother, Edward Carter of Grass Valley, CA; his sister, Marlyn Hall, a nephew, Mark (Carrie) Hall, his niece, Marlena Hall , his great-niece, Bella Hall and his great-nephew, Carson Hall all of Nevada City, CA. He also leaves behind, his sister-in-law, Diana McLaughlin of Grass Valley, CA; and another nephew, Kirk McLaughlin of Yuba City, CA.

    Graveside Services will be held at the Upper Antioch Cemetery Saturday, January, 28, 2017 at 10:00 am with Bro. Dave Cash officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Antioch Cemetery Fund c/o Martha Allen 343 Carter Sawmill Road Donaldson, AR 71941.

    We wanted to express our sympathy to you and your family this verse encouraging during our time of loss. "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God."
