  • Darrell Wayne Johnson, 63, of Hot Springs passed away July 11, 2017. Darrell was born to the late Bryan and Dorothy Mae Harris Johnson on July 27, 1953. Darrell who had a love of all things Bulldozer was a caring man who loved life and knew how to live it to the fullest.

    Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Youama Lambert and Gloria Johnson.

    Darrell is survived by his children, Darrell Wayne Johnson, Sheila Mae Johnson, his grandchildren, Samantha Johnson of Malvern; Angel Johnson of Malvern; Joshua Johnson of Arkadelphia; Marinda Barlow of Michigan, 2 step-grandchildren, Jasper Parker of Huntington, IN; Haley Parker of Malvern; 3 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way and his sisters, Scarlett Carpenter of Ohio; Carol Snyder of Florida; and Wanda Johnson of Hot Springs, AR.

    A Memorial Service for Darrell will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malvern.

    Sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. I used to run around with him and I have several good memories of those times. He will be missed and I would like to extend my condolences to his family.
