    James Oswald Newell Jr., 66, of Malvern, died August 19, 2017. James was born to the late James and Shirley Newell on January 11, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI. James was a loving family man who loved to watch Star Trek. He was also a member of the Hell’s Lovers Motorcycle Club and a big Green Bay Packers Fan along with his great-grandson Trevon.

    James leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Frances Losurdo Newell of Malvern; his son, Raymond (Tammy) Costa of Glen Rose; his daughters, Michelle (Christopher) Manriquez of Malvern; Kimberly Newell (Steven) Tallent of Little Rock; and Denise (Jerry) Harris of Little Rock; his brother, Gregory Newell of WI; his sister, Bobbi Jean Sherrer-Jones of WI; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

    A Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malvern with Pastor Willie Anderson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at 1:00 PM.
