    Jessie Henson Jr., age 47, of Malvern passed away September 2017.  Jessie was born July 20, 1970 in Prescott, AR. Jessie was a loving father, grandfather and son. Jessie loved spending time with his grandson and he also enjoyed   hunting, sports and cooking his famous baked beans.

    Jessie is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mattie and Harvey Brooks, his sister, Angela Marie Henson, and his brother, Jonathon Henson.

    Jessie is survived by his mother, Barbara Rimmer, his step-father and dad, Elton Rimmer, his father, Jessie Henson Sr.,  his children, Derek Lane Henson and wife Jordan Paige Henson, Blakely Shane Henson and  Payton Marie Henson, his grandchildren, Westyn Lane Henson and another on the way. He also leaves behind his brothers, Jerry Rimmer, Timothy Rimmer, Shane Henson and Joseph Henson.

    Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tim Carpenter officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Interment will be at Phillipi Cemetery by Point Cedar.

    Pallbearers will be Ricky Gage, John Lee Cole, Johnny Lee, Carl Walker, Jason Foster, Jimmy Thompson, Alvin Parker and Charlie Ramey.

    The Henson Family will be receiving friends and family on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 2-8 PM at 1314 Wilson Street, Malvern, AR 72104.

    Jessie was a great friend and was always their if you need help with something, Made me smile when he was walking with his daughter stop by say hi to us even asked to take Katie for walk at times. my heart breaks goes out to the family and kids sorry I can not be their but I prayers are with you all.

    So sorry for your loss! Only God knows why he needed to take Jessie so soon! Just remember the wonderful memories you had with him. I believe that when you think of a loved one after they have pasted, they know you are thinking of them!
