Rachel Alberta Bunn, 96 of Donaldson passed away September 7, 2018. Alberta was born November 10, 1921, in New DeRoche, AR to the late Delta Lee Estep and Sarah Bessie Henshaw Estep. She was a member of the Oak Grove Assembly of God. Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Joe Bunn, a granddaughter, Heather Smyly, a son-in-law, Chuck Smyly, and her brothers, Waddell and Winford Estep. Alberta is survived by her children, Charles Gerald Bunn (Brenda), Betty Jo Bunn, and Cheryl Smyly; her grandchildren, Darren Bunn (Donna), Clay Bunn (Sandra), Mike Bunn (Rebecca), Drew Smyly (Amber); her great-grandchildren, Kristin Woods (Cameron) Kirby Bunn, Carter Bunn, Nora Bunn; her great-great-grandchildren, Lainey Woods, and one on the way; her step-great-grandson, Damon Wilson (Robin), her step-great-great-grandson, Colby Wilson, and her sister, Marcille Thornton.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, September 10, 2018, at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malvern. Visitation will start one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Darren Bunn, Clay Bunn, Mike Bunn, Drew Smyly, Gary Thornton, and Bruce Thornton. Interment will be at Prairie Bayou Cemetery.
