    Faye Dean Riggan, 79, of Malvern passed away November 2, 2018. Faye was born to the late Clavis Martin and Lear C. Miller Martin on April 11, 1939, in Oak Grove, LA.  Faye was a faithful member of Cross Road Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Woodman of the World.

    Faye is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Thomas Martin, and a sister, Florence Mosley.

    Faye is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Truman R. Riggan, her children, Garland DeWayne Riggan, Carman Ray Riggan, Clavis Harlon Riggan, Morris Glenn Riggan, and Tonya Renee Wheeler; her sisters, Nella Dean Smith and Patsy Gosvener. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

    Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malvern from 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church in Benton with Brother Maxie Haynes, Brother Steven Keith, and Brother Larry Campbell officiating. Pallbearers will be Nick Smith, Reese Gosvener, Rowdy Hill, Carlton Witham, Ricky Sparling, and Brian Riggan. Honorary pallbearers will be Melvin Whitley, Matthew Riggan, Kolt Riggan, Konor Riggan, and Ronnie Wheeler.   Interment will be at Lutheran Cemetery (Big Creek Community).

    Garland, please know you and your families are in our thoughts and prayers. I remember Mrs Riggan in the choir at Glen Rise Baptist Church many years ago. She was always a sweetheart. May God give you all peace and comfort. Skeeter and Shirley.
