Cecil Ray Wuertz, 81, of Malvern, passed away December 21, 2018. Cecil always had a joke at hand and enjoyed talking to people. He especially liked collecting and selling at Petit Jean State Park flea market and always looked forward to going to deer camp every year with his family. One of Cecil’s biggest joys was his dog, Misty. She always put a smile on his face and wherever he went she would follow. He will be missed by all his friends and family.
Cecil is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Gladis Wuertz; his daughter, Nancy Tillery; and siblings, Lyndal Wuertz, Marie Burks, and Teresa Hand.
Cecil is survived by his children, Debbie Whorton, Jimmy Crites, Bruce Wuertz, and Sue Ann Wallace; brother, Jerry Wuertz; and sister, Barbara Woodall. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 109 Bil-Nor Lane, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
