    Truman Ray Riggan, 80, of Malvern passed away January 22, 2019. Truman was born to the late Doil H. Riggan and Sarah M. Floyd on August 27, 1938. Truman was a faithful member of the Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church.

    Truman is preceded in death by his parents, and wife of 59 years, Faye Dean Riggan, and a brother Travis Riggan.

    Truman is survived by his children, Garland DeWayne Riggan, Carman Ray Riggan, Clavis Harlon Riggan, Morris Glen Riggan, and Tonya Renee Wheeler; one brother Vencil Riggan; and two sisters, Joyce Kay, and Una Faye Earnest.

    Visitation will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019, from 6-8pm at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm at the Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church in Benton on Friday, January 25, 2019, with Brother Maxie Haynes, Brother Steven Keith, and Brother Larry Campbell officiating.

    Pallbearers will be Nick Smith, Reese Gosvener, Rowdy Hill, Carlton Witham, Ricky Sparling, and Brian Riggan. Honorary pallbearers are Melvin Whitley, Matthew Riggan, Kolt Riggan, Konor Riggan, and Ronnie Wheeler.

    Interment will be at the Lutheran Cemetery (Big Creek Community)

    Kenneth and Truman Ray are singing with the angels in heaven now! We will continue to miss them here, but if we just think of how they will not feel any more pain we will not miss them so much. May the Lord bless and keep you. Kenneth Floyd's family.

    May cherished memories ease the pain you are feeling today. The words at John 5:28,29 gives us a hope for our dear loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. My deepest sympathy to the family.
